Once you have registered, simply log on and you are ready to take advantage of some of the impressive savings brought to you by GrateBuy.

Using the search function on the home page, enter details for the item/s you wish to purchase. Alternatively, proceed directly to the Make A Request page and manually choose your category, sub-category, brand and model using the easy-to-use drop-down menus.

You can choose to have the Retailers quote a delivered or pick-up price (or both). You can even select the maximum distance you would be prepared to travel to purchase the item(s).

The GrateBuy platform encourages Retailers to submit their best possible offer - first time!

In order to assist retailers submit the best possible pricing for the item(s), be sure to enter as many relevant details as possible.

You may include up to 3 items per Request. Confirm your items and Submit your Request. Retailers may respond with offers for items individually or if requested, as a bundle.

Retailers will have a maximum of 3 days to respond to your request. GrateBuy will then do the leg work to find you a great deal on your selected item(s).

GrateBuy will notify you via email of the offers sourced for you. Any retailer offer will be valid for acceptance for a minimum of 7 days (although, retailers may give up to 28 days).

In order to allow retailers the ability to submit truly competitive offers, they do not reveal their identity during the offer process. For your peace of mind, all retailers using GrateBuy are registered Australian businesses.

As part of the conditions of using GrateBuy, retailers agree to be bound to GrateBuy’s strict terms of conduct and also the respective fair trading and consumer protection laws in their state or territory of operation. Only new items can be offered for sale on the GrateBuy website and any manufacturers’ warranty must be supported in accordance with the relevant respective state or territory laws.

When satisfied with an offer and you wish to purchase the item(s), you simply accept the offer. Next, simply pay the small GrateBuy service fee.

GrateBuy will send you all the details of the selected retailer and you have a maximum of 7 days to arrange payment to the retailer for delivery or pickup of the item(s). Depending on the offer, some retailers may give a longer time period to arrange payment after an offer is accepted.

The Retailer will then deduct the GrateBuy service fee from the total price paid by you when you purchase the item(s).

Setting up your business to obtain your GrateBuy account is easy.

Only Australian based businesses can register to use the GrateBuy service and must hold a valid Australian Business Number (ABN) and registered business address.

Enter the relevant categories for the type of products that you would like to sell via the GrateBuy website.

Only new items can be offered via GrateBuy and any manufacturers’ warranty must be supported in accordance with the applicable respective Trade Practices legislation in your state or territory.

GrateBuy will contact you via email when a customer expresses interest in your products.

Enter your best price for the item(s) and any special offer by following the link. To simplify the process for future orders, retailers can also elect to make it a default price (for pick-up only) to automate the process for future pricing requests for that item.

In order to allow retailers the ability to submit the most competitive pricing, offers are sent anonymously to the customer for their consideration.

Your offer must be sent to the customer within 3 days and be valid for acceptance for a minimum of 7 days. You may also select to hold your offer open for acceptance by the customer for up to 28 days.

GrateBuy will advise you via email that the customer has accepted your offer by paying the GrateBuy service fee. This is when your identity is revealed to the customer, allowing the customer to contact you.

You will be required to hold the offer for a further 7 days (or greater as specified by your offer) for the customer to complete the transaction with you.

The customer will now deal directly with you to arrange the purchase of item(s) for pickup or delivery. The amount payable to you by the customer will be the offer price, less the GrateBuy service fee.

One of the great advantages of the unique GrateBuy process is that there is no cost to the retailer until a sale is completed.
